Cosmetic Kitchen 4 Children

This party mixes practical creativity with science information! We check out our skin and hair using a hand held  digital microscope while discovering  the answers to these and other questions:

Why is my skin oily?

Why does your skin wrinkle in the bath?

Is my  hair healthy?

How much can your hair lift?

What makes our skin tan?

How sensitive is our skin to touch?

What are freckles?

Why does humidity give me a bad hair day?

Why does my hair stand on end sometimes?

How do I know what’s in my products?

and much more….

Then we roll up our sleeves and  have a go at  making  our own range!  The workshops are delivered by trained beauty professionals and science communicators giving your guests an insight into the backstage world of this fascinating and glamorous industry.  The products made are yours to take home and use!

This party has been designed for children aged between 9-15 years old and can be run for  groups of 10 (with one staff member). We travel out to your venue and bring the required ingredients, recipe’s and packaging.  The party runs for 1.5 hours and required access to running water and electricity for our hot plates.

The parties have been developed in conjunction with Fizzics Education. For bookings please check out their web site – we are currently limited to the Sydney area.  Book early as we are very busy!

Cosmetic Kitchen 4 Adult Groups

Why let the kids have all of the fun?  Our cosmetic kitchen for adults is a great way to celebrate birthdays, special occasions or just something to do with your mothers group! Our recipes are easy to follow and include ingredients that you can easily find from your local health food shop or wholesaler.  We run a similar format to the kids parties but will incorporate your Q&A time  so bring along your favorite products for demystifying by our team.
