As the Australian Science Festival gets ever closer the buzz around the Realize Beauty office is growing! We have been working over the last three months to put together something you, our readers. Here are some of the things that we can’t wait to share with you!

Realize Beauty Naturally – An Interactive Lecture. 28th May @ The Bradman Theatre, National Convention Centre, Constitution Avenue, Canberra.  Bookings can be made by calling the Science Festival on 02 6207 5901.

Natural Vs Organic Vs Synthetic –  What’s what in the world of cosmetic science.

Stella Beauty –  How the beauty industry takes some inspiration from the stars (in keeping with this years theme – the international year of astronomy).

Green Chemistry and how it can save the universe!

With lots of: sampling, smelling, feeling and a Q&A session.

Realize Beauty Workshop – Cooking up Cosmetics!

Saturday 30th May, Menzies Theatre, National Convention Centre, Constitution Avenue, Canberra, 11am, 12.15 and 1.30.

OVER 18’s ONLY PLEASE!

Come and try your hand at some manufacturing! We have a range of easy to put together recipes for you to try featuring some wonderful Australian native oils and clays.  In this fourty minute session you will find out some manufacturing hints and tips, get to know and test out some wonderful natural ingredients and best of all, take home what you make!

Participants will also have their chance to sign up to win the excellent “Complete Guide to Aromatherapy” book if they sign up to our Realize Beauty club during the event.
