Trilogy’s Orangutan Project

July 23, 2010

The cosmetics industry often ends up perched at the end of a very long and judgemental pointy finger of bleugh but it is not always deserved.  The companies behind the cosmetics are often busy pumping time, energy and cash into some fantastically earth and life changing projects as we see here with Trilogy.

Trilogy is an Australian owned and manufactured brand of natural goodness set up by sisters Catherine and Sarah in their cold old office with a rusty tin roof!  The girls first product was the certified organic rosehip oil – the very same oil that is now helping to change the lives of many of Borneo’s Orangutans.

Last year Trilogy raised over NZ $20,000 for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation through sales of their limited edition rosehip oil packs. This years effort starts again in September so keep your eyes peeled and your wallets open for some retail therapy with REAL feel-good potential! Good on you Trilogy.

Trilogy - Changing the Future for Orangutans

Having been out to one of the Orangutan rehabilitation centres in Borneo I can vouch for the hard work and dedication that is going on to protect this amazing species. I for one will be supporting the Trilogy teams efforts and hope that you find the time to do the same. Rosehip oil is a great skin cure-all as it is rich in vitamins,  essential fatty acids and natural anti0xidants. It is also light weight and quick to rub in making it a great choice for those with acne prone or damaged skin. Finally it has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and wrinkles which sounds great to me!

THIS NEW PRODUCT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE IN SEPTEMBER.
