The Beauty Bus – What a Great Idea!

On this rainy Friday in Sydney we wanted to share with you news about an exciting new  wellness organisation  “The Beauty Bus”. This Los Angeles based charity  is  set to change the lives of the terminally ill and housebound by bringing the salon to your home.

The charity was set up by Beauty Industry Girl, Alicia Marantz Liotta (click for link to her blog)  and her cousin who were motivated into action after loosing their 28 year old  sister / cousin to a degenerative neuromuscular disease.   The charity, which was over a year in the making launched  in January 2009 and is building up momentum thanks to the support of a team of willing volunteers and supporters.
