I was just interested in finding out information about ingredients in this shampoo and conditioner that I use because it really helps my hair and I feel like it Makes my hair shine, and very soft and bouncy just wanted to find out if it hurt my hair in any way. Thank you very much for the info

I follow your blog pretty regularly, and I would love to see your thoughts on claims of “ingredients that promote hair growth.” There’s quite a lot of anecdotal claims out there about Jamaican Black Castor Oil making hair grow, but since there are no actual studies on this, it’s become rather more of an internet claim.
That’s an interesting one Windy. My ‘top of head’ thoughts are that Castor Oil may help reduce moisture loss through the hair and may make it easier to comb (less friction). These things may help keep the hair on the head. Whether there is more to it that than I don’t know. Whether my ideas are correct I don’t know. This is definitely one for the blog. I’ll look into it. Is this something that you have experience in using? Do you have any initial thoughts?
